These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of bookkeeping services provided by BlueSkies Bookkeeping ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to the client ("Client," "you," or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
BlueSkies Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping services to small businesses and home service companies. Our services may include but are not limited to transaction categorization, financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and general bookkeeping tasks. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advisory services, and our services should not be construed as such.
While we strive to provide accurate bookkeeping services, the ultimate responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of financial records lies with the Client. We rely on the information provided by you, and we are not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the financial data. You agree to review financial statements and reports prepared by us and to notify us promptly of any discrepancies or concerns.
BlueSkies Bookkeeping may outsource portions of its bookkeeping processes to third-party service providers. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to this outsourcing arrangement. We ensure that any third-party providers we engage adhere to high industry standards; however, we do not assume liability for their actions.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data; however, BlueSkies Bookkeeping is not liable for any data breaches, including but not limited to:
You acknowledge that electronic transmission of data carries inherent risks and that we cannot guarantee complete data security.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueSkies Bookkeeping disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BlueSkies Bookkeeping, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the Client’s use of our services.

We require a 30-day cancellation notice to terminate services. To cancel, the Client must submit a request to their bookkeeper and schedule an exit call with a member of our team. Upon termination, the Client remains responsible for any unpaid invoices and agrees to download and secure all financial records prior to service termination.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which BlueSkies Bookkeeping operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in that jurisdiction.
BlueSkies Bookkeeping reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
